Bus Ministry FAQs
How will I know what time my child will be picked up?
Every Saturday, one of our church members will call you to confirm that your child still needs a ride to church and will tell you what time to expect the bus at your home.
Where will my child be picked up?
The Church bus will come pick your child up directly at your home. When the bus arrives, a church volunteer will knock on your door and escort your child to the bus.
When will my child come home?
Once our church services have ended, our Bus Captain will help your children back onto the bus to return home. Church services vary in length, but you can expect your child to return home between 12:30-1:30 p.m. In the event of a special event, we will let you know when we call on Saturday.
Are the bus workers and FBC kids volunteers background checked?
Yes! Each teacher and volunteer in our children's ministry has been background checked and has gone through safety training.
How old must my child be to ride the bus?
Children 5 years old (in kindergarten) up to 17 years old are welcome to ride the church bus.
I am a parent and need a ride to church. Can I ride the church bus with my child?
Yes, only the immediate parents/guardians of the child(ren) may ride the bus. We also have church vans available that are able to pick up adults with no chidlren.
